Event Reports

We report on most of our events in the Kingsdown, Lynsted and Norton Parish Newsletter.

On this page - we have collected together those reports for the record, interest and information of Members (and those thinking of Membership) and our web visitors. Some events are 'regulars' (by popular demand), but we do vary our events and presentations to meet the wide interests of our membership. To browse our Reports, click on the relevant year-headings (below).

Other activities and resources - Your subscriptions and help also allow us to support projects that bring together material on the different 'faces' of our communities and their surroundings. We are also continually adding to our virtual library of documents, extracts, family history researches and transcriptions from outside sources.

11 September - Artisan brewery visit ("Mad Cat" Brewery)

7.00pm start: Open to All.
Peter Heany gave our group a tour, presentation and opportunity to taste. Disappointingly, on the day we were unable to buy bottles and only tasted one beer. A promotional opportunity lost. The talk was very informative and passsionate. Beers can be bought at local outlets in Brogdale Fruit Collection centre - ME13 8XU.
