Royal Events - History Day Display Boards

The Parish of Lynsted with Kingsdown went into overdrive to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. A dedicated group from Lynsted village managed the Herculean task of hosting events on each day of the Public Holiday (2nd June to 5th June 2022). Other street parties took place in Cellar Hill and Greenstreet (Coffin Path area). Our neighbours in Teynham Village also celebrated the Platinum Jubilee.
On 3rd June, Lynsted Village held a history day in the Church of Saints Peter and Paul followed by a highly successful Quiz Night to help generate funds for the several events, including insurance and toilets! A good time was had by all at the crowded tables.
